J Erik Odeen- CPA, CFE
Erik Odeen, CPA, CFE, is a seasoned executive with over 25 years’ experience in corporate management, financial leadership, manufacturing & distribution operations, and public accounting. He manages a consulting practice which provides financial management and strategic-planning advisory services to both public and privately-held company clients. Erik’s focus has been corporate restructuring and reorganization, SEC and BCSC reporting, resolving complex accounting issues, M&A, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. More recently, Erik has been working with start-up and development stage companies, as well as turn-around engagements with large companies experiencing a performance decline due to quick growth without proper planning.
Erik’s public company experience includes seven years with PCAOB-registered CPA firms including Deloitte & Touch and a local firm in California, and a 13 year career with International Paper Company (Fortune 100) where he served in both corporate positions as well as senior level management positions for their distribution company. Additionally, Erik has spent approximately six years playing the CFO role for public companies in their early stages of growth. Erik has served on several Boards as the financial expert, and participated on audit and compensation committees.
Erik is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA), the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
