• Maintain your company’s general ledger (GL) ensuring accurate journal entries to reflect all transactions;
• Process payables and generate checks based on proper supporting documentation, and reconcile the accounts payable subledger to ensure accounts are kept current while maximizing cash flow;
• Reconcile all cash accounts timely and accurately;
• Coordinate with external payroll service provider to ensure payroll transactions are recorded accurately and timely;
• Generate a balance sheet and ensure all accounts are properly supported and reconciled;
• Generate an income statement based on properly documented revenue activity and expenses, ensuring appropriate revenue recognition adherence and matching principles are met;
• Generate a statement of cash flows, providing a view of cash from/used for operations, investments and financing activities;
• Generate a statement of stockholder equity reflecting all ownership of the company and transactions during the period;
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and interim forecasting schedules;
• Clean up general ledger transactions, ensuring evidence of a proper audit trail.
